All contacts live in the workspace-level **Contacts** hub at `/contacts`.

### Adding and Managing Contacts

**Add individually:** Go to `/contacts` → **Add contact**. Fill in email, name, organization, and any tags.

**Import from CSV:** Click **Import CSV**. The importer accepts a file with headers for email, first name, last name, organization, and tags (comma-separated in a single cell).

**Contact fields:** - Email (required and unique per workspace) - First name, Last name - Organization, Job title, Source - Tags (multi-value) - Custom fields (key-value pairs accessible via journeys and personalization)

**Engagement metrics:** Each contact shows: - Emails sent / opened / clicked - **Hot lead** indicator — contacts with at least one tracked click

**Bulk tagging:** Select multiple contacts using the checkboxes, then click **Bulk tag** to add or remove tags from the whole selection at once.

### Tags

Tags are brand-scoped labels you apply to contacts. They're the primary way to express "this contact is relevant to Brand X" or "this person is a newsletter subscriber."

- Manage a brand's tags in Brand detail → **Tags** tab. - Apply tags to contacts in the contact list, the contact detail dialog, or via a Journey **Tag** step. - Filter the contact list by tag using the sidebar filters.

> **Operator tip:** Create your brand's tags before building journeys. Journey audience rules and **Tag** steps reference the brand's tag list.
