Brands are the core organizing unit of NextStep. Each brand has its own posts, campaigns, email templates, journeys, connected social accounts, and sending policy. Your contacts and segments are shared across all brands in the workspace.
### Creating a Brand

Fill in: - **Name** — how you refer to this brand internally. - **Website** — shown on the brand detail page. - **Audience** — a description of who this brand targets (used by AI). - **Tone of voice** — e.g., "Friendly and conversational" (used by AI and for content consistency). - **Key messaging** — bullet points or paragraphs of brand-specific talking points. - **Default CTA** — e.g., "Book a call" or "Shop now". 3. Save.
