Frequently asked questions

What is NextStep?

NextStep is a customer engagement workspace that combines social scheduling, drag-and-drop email, CRM, AI-assisted content, approvals, and a unified engagement inbox in one secure, multi-brand workspace — so every message stays clear, coordinated, and on-brand.

Can I manage more than one organization?

Yes. Standard plans support one organization, and multi-organization plans are available when you need separate workspaces, brands, contacts, social accounts, and reporting contexts.

How does NextStep protect workspace data?

Workspace data is tenant-scoped, with protected API routes, background jobs, webhooks, and media access using the active workspace context. Roles control what teammates can do, stored OAuth and API tokens are encrypted at rest, and admins can review email and social publishing activity in operational logs. Marketing email can require topic-level consent, while unsubscribes and bounces are suppressed from future marketing sends. These controls are not a claim of third-party certification or guaranteed inbox placement.

Which social channels are supported?

Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn are supported, with per-platform image resizing and branded overlays.

Can I try NextStep before paying?

Yes. Every new sign-up lands in an exploration workspace with a sample brand, contacts, posts, segments, and an email template. You can review the product with those examples before paying or connecting a sender or social account. Pick a plan from Settings → Billing (or the Pricing page) when you’re ready to create and publish for your own brand.

What do I need before I can send or publish?

Choose a paid plan and create your brand. NextStep provides a platform sending address by default; to send from your own domain, add it and confirm ownership. Until a custom domain is verified, NextStep routes mail through its platform address and uses your custom address for replies. Connect each Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn account through its authorization flow before publishing there.

How does NextStep handle marketing email delivery?

For marketing journeys, you can require consent for a topic; unsubscribes and bounces are suppressed from future marketing sends. Brand warm-up pacing, per-recipient caps, sending windows, and blackout dates can defer a message, while stale queued messages can be skipped. Review delivered, bounced, and failed attempts in the send log—delivery and engagement depend on sending providers and recipient inboxes.
